How to Get Started

Most Space Command positions require at least a Secret clearance, and many require TS/SCI or higher. The clearance process can take 6-18 months, so start early. Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information. Required for space operations, cybersecurity, and intelligence roles. Involves a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and can take 6-18 months. Grants access to classified national security information.
TS/SCI with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. Required for intelligence roles and some senior positions. Adds a polygraph examination to the TS/SCI investigation. The highest level of clearance commonly required at Space Command.
